Ben Musgrove is the founder and managing member of The Musgrove Law Firm. After gaining invaluable experience while working for a firm in Atlanta, Ben decided to open his own shop near his home in Cumming. Ben now focuses his practice on helping what he calls “everyday people”… folks who are just like him, but don’t have a law degree. He now serves as an attorney for people just like you who have been involved in an accident that was no fault of their own.
Having begun his journey at the University of West Georgia where he graduated in 2007 with a Biology degree, and thereafter earning his Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010, Ben decided that his skill-set and interests actually rested in helping people with their everyday needs, not in curing their illnesses. As such, Ben enrolled in law school and began learning how he could best serve his community.
While in law school, Ben gained valuable experience on the Mock Trial Competition Team, where he served as Chair in his third year. It was through competing in mock trial competitions that Ben developed a liking for the adversarial litigation process. In addition, while in law school, Ben had the opportunity to serve as a summer intern for Honorable T. Jackson Bedford, Jr. in the Fulton County Superior Court, where he was able to watch some of the most skilled attorneys in the State of Georgia at work.
Following law school, Ben was hired as an associate at the reputable law firm of McConnell & Sneed, LLC where he was fortunate enough to learn from several brilliant attorneys and was provided the opportunity to experience a wide variety of legal issues in jurisdictions across Georgia.
Moreover, it was through these immediate hands-on experiences that Ben was able to begin to hone his craft for helping people who have been wronged physically, financially, or otherwise. Now, Ben serves everyday people who need an attorney for accidents.
Thus far in his career, Ben has helped hundreds of clients achieve the goal of being made whole, whether it be from a personal injury, toxic chemical spill, breach of contract, divorce, fraudulent conveyance, or simple land dispute while serving as a personal injury lawyer in Atlanta.
In addition, Ben has assisted countless couples in achieving peace of mind that should something happen to them, their children and families would be properly cared and provided for as an Atlanta estate planning attorney.
A lifelong native of Georgia (except for a few months in Vail, Colorado after college), Ben was raised in what he proclaims as “God’s Country”, Carrollton, Georgia. Ben is the oldest of four children and possesses a devout love for his family.
He is married to the former Jessica Smith of Buford, Georgia, and has planted roots with his beautiful wife in their now home of Cumming, Georgia. Ben and Jessica have three amazing little girls named Kate, Amelia and Emma, and two dogs that oftentimes accompany Ben to the office: Stella, and Jasper.
In his spare time, when he is not playing with his daughters or relaxing with his wife, Ben loves to hunt, fish, play golf, and eat. However, Ben’s real passion is for his alma mater, the University of West Georgia, where he has served as a Board Member for the National Alumni Association and as a Director-at-Large and Secretary/VP of Legal Affairs for the Alpha Zeta House Association. Eventually, Ben hopes to take his education, legal understanding, and passion for his community, and run for public office.
